Northwest School of Freeride

Posted in Uncategorized on June 19th, 2009 by Anna

Jason and I headed over to the Northwest School of Freeride located just East of Sandy Oregon earlier in the week to meet with the School’s Principal and Vice Principal Kris “Jaymo” Jamieson and Sam Pinner. If my school principal’s office had been this cool I probably would have made more effort to get in there! We had a great time riding the skate park, dirt jumps, freeride lines and pump track while enjoying the opportunity to watch some of the worlds best riders tossing themselves into the air. Here are some photos from our afternoon at the NWSOF.

Jaymo hitting the hip just after the Boyko drop. NO BRAKES!

We had a great day hanging out with these guys, sharing ideas and discussing possible partnerships. The North West School of Freeride needs to be added to your list of rediculously fun places to ride when your in Oregon. It’s only about a 30 minute drive from Portland and there is something for everybody from beginner dirt jumps, to daul slalom, to concrete skate park riding, to foam pit hucking, to gigantic drops and big big gaps. Go there. And for more information, go here: http://nwsof.com/wp/
